For 2012 it can only be purchased with a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine that puts out 166 horsepower. Gone is the large 6-cylinder engine. Unlike many modern competitors the Suzuki Grand Vitara is still based on a more rugged truck like frame so it should be good when the going gets tough, rocky and steep.
