Earlier this month, TFL Studios gave online car buying service Vroom.com a try, shelling out more than $63,000 on a used 2015 BMW i8. Nearly two weeks later, after we sent a cashier's check for Vroom to ship the car, we're stuck in a nightmare situation where the company says they do not have the check in hand, although we have confirmation that they received the money. Roman and Tommy lay out the story so far, and we'll post updates as we have more information and (hopefully) get this issue resolved.

UPDATE: As of February 18, Vroom's customer service escalation team called us saying they were still working on the issue, but did not confirm they had the check in-hand, and did not have any more updates for us at this time.
