Check out the new look of my Ford GT! This is HYPER POP, an Art Car creation by Lhouette with Wyecliffe Galleries, supporting the charity CALM through a series of art pieces that will be auctioned with Bonhams. Combining an iconic supercar with icons of pop culture, it's wild!

I've been mysterious about the recent transformation to one of the most well known of all the Shmeemobiles in order to be joined by Lhouette and the artworks themselves to truly understand what this project is all about. Working with Wyecliffe Galleries, this idea came to be as a crossover between the pop art world and that of cars. Lhouette is well known for his works of this nature, layering and bringing together retro throwbacks on canvases that in this case work across the Ford GT's bodywork.

The full set of artworks will be in the Bonhams Fine Art Auction later in the year, with 50% of proceeds being donated to the Campaign Against Living Miserably, supporting mental health. For the time being, my car will be present at the Goodwood Festival of Speed auction with Bonhams Motor Cars this Thursday and Friday, and will also then be viewable at the Supercar Paddock on Saturday and Sunday.

Seeing the finished result is an instant wow moment, there's so much to take in, and it requires more than one pass to begin to spot all of the details and different elements to it. Today we can reveal the full car that has been wrapped by my friends at Dub Customs, which is the first time I've ever done a printed vinyl wrap on a car at all. The shapes of the Ford GT allow it to offer so many different angles and areas that Lhouette has used to play with the theme, bringing in the ideas of the colours beneath as well.
