It's supercar delivery day, and this will be a surprise! The new arrival brings colour to @TheShmuseum in abundance, and adds both a brand, and engine type that's missing from my collection. Let's get on the road in the Lusso to go pick it up and find out what's so unexpected!?

It's always a fun day when it's heading to a showroom to collect a new car, although this one is a little bit different. Today we're on the road to Lamborghini Pangbourne, to 're-collect' my Lamborghini Huracan STO and for it to return to the garage! It was exactly 3 months ago that I dropped it off with the intention to sell the car, however it has never actually sold, and I've made the decision to bring it back home!

With a bit of a crunch of high expenses, big cars arriving, and other businesses needing funds, I'd put the STO up for sale with Pangbourne, from where I'd bought it precisely one year prior, to the day. However, it has never actually sold and technically still belongs to me, although psychologically it feels like a new car having decided, reluctantly, to let it go. On that topic, this was perhaps the first and only time that I've regretted 'selling' a car, so perhaps these things happen for a reason.

There's something about the craziness of this car, which was both my first Lamborghini but also the wildest colours of any car I've ever owned. The garage has been missing the flashes of Viola Bast ever since and it's a welcome return, although absolutely not welcome weather for the drive back. With the heavens opening on us, it could not be worse for a track focused supercar, driving at slow speed on the motorways in pouring rain.

I've teased a lot that I was leaning in this direction and might still be keeping the car, but obviously didn't fully make up my mind until the Christmas period. I know a lot of you guys will be happy to see it back!
