I've ordered a new Lotus Emira and it's time to choose the spec! Join me at Bell & Colvill to run through the available options and the configuration I'm going for on my First Edition, which naturally will be a V6 with manual gearbox. I can't wait for this car!

Having taken a first look at the new Lotus Emira in summer, it was officially launched at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where I was lucky to ride alongside Jenson Button for a run up the famous hillclimb and announced that one was joining the Shmeemobiles. It's now time however to start working on the specification and with limited options to choose it's already done for me.

SPOILERS BELOW

My car will be in the bright Hethel Yellow paintwork, with the optional Black Pack for the roof and exterior details. It'll be optioned with the 20" silver wheels in front of gloss black brake calipers. Inside it will be grey leather, with a black Alcantara steering wheel with grey stripe and stitching. I'm choosing the Sport suspension (as opposed to Tour) and fitted with Michelin Sport Cup 2 tyres, for a sportier drive.

I'm looking forward to the Lotus ordering process from here which is being handled heavily in house, however to kick things off, the team at Bell & Colville have been very helpful and supportive. Bring on the arrival at some point in spring 2022!
