I've Had No Luck Fixing This Problem with My SLS Black Series!

My SLS Black Series is back in action with a few updates and fixes, but still with a problem... After a few weeks on the road in the GT8, it's a swap over to the gullwing monster after working out what's going on with the new steering wheel; an upgrade I've always wanted to make to the car.
It's also the end of the trip for my Aston Martin GT8, which has been great fun on the Autobahn and Nurburgring, but now heading back to the UK where my Dad will be borrowing it for the next few months until the 4th year service is due in the New Year. However, the SLS Black Series has been visiting for a number of things including the installation of the updated Carbontastic steering wheel, a replacement reversing camera, and a fixed front splitter piece - often a casualty of the Carousell on the Nordschleife. While the latter two are indeed good to go, unfortunately we aren't quite there yet with the new steering wheel owing to some glitches with the electronics.
There is no question that the wheel looks the part; Carbontastic have built it to my specification to perfectly match and suit the interior of my car with black Alcantara, red stitching and 12 o'clock stripe, carbon spokes and gloss black inserts. While in theory you can hot swap it in and have all original functionality, unfortunately there's something playing up with the ECU that means you only get one operation after each time the battery is connection before it stops being fully responsive. We shall try one more go and see if we get there, it's definitely some trial and error involved!
Back at the wheel though, the SLS Black Series is seriously addictive and one of my favourites of the Shmeemobiles without doubt!
