Finally GOOD NEWS About My McLaren 675LT Spider!

There's finally some good news about my McLaren 675LT Spider! The car has been away for a while having a number of issues fixed, but it's now back in the workshop at McLaren Manchester so we can run through exactly what happened, what's now been completed and upgraded, and when it'll be back on the road.
The McLaren 675LT Spider arrived in my garage almost 4 years ago; a car that I ordered in a one-off paint colour from MSO that we named Orion Purple. Unfortunately like many McLaren cars of this age, a process as part of the painting stages was not finished correctly and it led to oxidisation of some panels including the front wings, and then later the bonnet too. Matching the paint with the Cerulean Blue flake has proven to be quite a difficult problem, and as a result it's been a much longer visit to resolve than hoped.
Once the front wings had been painted late last year, unfortunately upon return we found a similar problem to the bonnet, and hence now an upgrade for the car with the bonnet being replaced with a new carbon fibre piece. Of course more recently the process has all been extended while many businesses have been closed for a number of months during the current crisis.
However, things are mostly now up and running correctly and hopefully it will not be too long until the car can be making a visit to Topaz Detailing for some perfection to the paintwork and ultimately installing PPF to get it back ready for the road.
The Toyota Supra is called into action for the outing up to visit McLaren Manchester to see the 675LT and check over some of the works that have been done as I will be venturing away very soon and want to make sure it's signed off correctly. With a plan in place I can rest assured it will be perfect the next time I see it and I think when that time comes it will be straight on the road for a proper trip when travel restrictions allow!
