Let's take a first look and walkaround of the new 2nd generation Mercedes-Benz GLS! This particular car is the 2020 GLS 580 finished in Iridium Silver paintwork, at the global debut and first presentation at the 2019 New York International Auto Show.

The latest Mercedes GLS arrives with the intent to be the 'S Class of SUVs' and that is clear from the abundance of technology from safety systems to luxuries and the new MBUX interface. Inside it is also loaded with practicality with electrically motorised seats through all 3 rows, a rear seat tabled for controlling the infotainment and much, much more.

Let's take an introductory walkaround to get a feel for what the new GLS is like at the first presentation and start to line a little about what it offers. This has been my first visit to the New York motorshow, and it's a thanks to Mercedes-Benz for making that possible.
