The second-generation Volkswagen Tiguan came to India with the aim of being a more affordable alternative to entry-level luxury SUVs like the BMW X1, Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Volvo XC40, and, with loads of equipment, AWD and a price around Rs 30 lakh, that's what it was. it has since been replaced by the 7-seat Tiguan AllSpace, but now we hear it will be coming back in facelifted guise, and positioned a bit more attractively in the range.
