We are going to erect a building on this flat land.
We build sheathing and dig deep, deep into the surface.
We dig up the dirt and begin by erecting a sturdy foundation.
We should plant bearings on the bedrock to bear the weight (load) of building.
We install re-bars to join the bearings with the foundation and pour in the concrete!
Then we install re-bars for the columns and molds for the slabs to build the framework for the first floor.
The slab will work as the ceiling for the lower level and the floors for the upper level.
After installing the molds,
we install re-bars in lattices and pour in the concrete again!
The molds prevent overfilling.
The building grows up with the repetition of this process.
It does not matter how high the building is.
The materials are transported by tower cranes and temporary elevator hoists
and the concrete is pumped up with a powerful pump.
As the building rises, the lower levels install glass walls on the exterior
and add electrical systems and finishes on the inside.
A big team of people works on different levels at the same time to complete the building!
