Testing the Mazda CX-5 Diesel in the top version with 175 hp.
What makes a SUV charming? The high seating position? The safety profits due to the all-wheel-drive? The robust design? Probably a combination of everything. Fact is, SUV have an enormous growth in the number of registrations. One of those is the Mazda CX-5, which we will now explore in the highest trim level.
The sound of the engine doenst play a huge role here, but the sound inside is actually very pleasing. We can recommend the BOSE centerpoint sound system, how they call it.
As you see from its appearence, the CX-5 is a good compromise between compact dimensions and a volouminus interior.
The three first trim levels are also available with the front wheel drive, however the sports line only comes with the AWD.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 or 0 to 60 in miles, you need right below 10 seconds - that acounts for all Diesels, more or less.
Whereas our test car is grey right here, we prefer white or blue for the cx-5, as these colors stress the dynamic design of the car.
