그는 한국의 수도 서울을 알리기 위해 필사의 노력을 기울입니다.

그리고 1977년, 아산사회복지재단을 건립,
우리 사회의 가장 불우한 이웃을 돕기 위한 행보도 적극적으로 이어갔습니다.
은퇴할 때, 사회봉사를 한 생애를 가진 사람으로 인정받기 위해 주변을 돌아봤던 아산.
그가 꿈꾸는 희망에 대해 들어봅니다.
Asan Chung Ju-yung chaired Korea’s Bidding Committee for 88 Seoul Olympics.
He made desperate efforts to let people know about Seoul, the capital of Korea. His ‘Heart-moving Diplomacy’ made a miracle to stir the hearts of IOC members who were indifferent to Korea. This miracle continued to 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan and Expo 2012 Yeosu.
In 1998, Asan visited North Korea, which was a peaceful event that whole world paid attention. By visiting his father’s hometown with 500 cows, he contributed to peacemaking atmosphere between South and North Korea and opened the gate of cooperation.
In 1997, he established ASAN Foundation to actively help unfortunate neighbors in our society. When retiring, Asan had a look around to be recognized as the person who served the community.
